Il film racconta la storia di Lisca Bianca II, una barca a vela che da circa 40 anni “cambia la vita delle persone”.  Lisca Bianca è stata prima una casa ed è poi divenuta una “comunità”. I coniugi Albeggiani, che l’avevano sognata e poi trasformata in realtà, e a bordo della quale fecero il giro del mondo, lasciano oggi il testimone a Marco e Andrea, skipper attuali della barca. Lisca diventa dunque un’occasione di riscatto per giovani con fragilità, come Gioele, adolescente impegnato in un percorso di giustizia riparativa.

Un viaggio tra passato e presente, per scoprire come questa imbarcazione, rinata dalle sue ceneri, continua a ispirare sogni di libertà.

The film tells the story of Lisca Bianca II, a sailing boat that has been “changing people’s lives” for about 40 years.  Lisca Bianca was first a house and then became a “community”. The Albeggiani couple, who had dreamed of it and then transformed it into reality, and on board which they traveled around the world, today leave the baton to Marco and Andrea, the boat’s current skippers. Lisca therefore becomes an opportunity for redemption for young people with fragility, like Gioele, a teenager engaged in a process of restorative justice. A journey between past and present, to discover how this vessel, reborn from its ashes, continues to inspire dreams of freedom.

Giuseppe Galante

Laureato in Scienze della Comunicazione presso l’Università di Palermo. Dopo la laurea si trasferisce in Spagna dove ottiene un diploma in Documentario di creazione presso l’Observatorio de Cine di Barcellona, per il quale poi lavorerà come montatore. Dal 2011 è socio fondatore della compagnia Babel, presso cui attualmente è responsabile dell’area audiovisivi e co-curatore del Mercurio Festival. Come regista e filmaker ha realizzato i documentari Baciami Giuda e I la nau va.

Graduated in Communication Sciences from the University of Palermo. After graduation, yes he moved to Spain where he obtained a diploma in Documentary Creation at the Observatorio de Cine in Barcelona, ​​for which he later worked as an editor. It has been since 2011 founding partner of the Babel company, where he is currently responsible for the area audiovisual and co-curator of the Mercurio Festival. Giorgia Sciabbica

Da sempre appassionata del genere documentario, persegue la sua inclinazione diplomandosi al Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, sede Sicilia. L’esperienza da filmaker si fortifica all’estero, a Madrid implementando esperienze in produzione e successivamente nella post produzione trasferendosi a Londra. Un Percorso lavorativo che passa dalle maggiori case di post sino ai Broadcaster, come Warner Bros e Sky Tv. Tornata in Italia, sperimenta il ruolo della post producer presso uno dei più importanti laboratori di Roma. In seguito attiva pregevoli collaborazioni, dedicandosi alla supervisione di tutte le fasi della post produzione cinematografica per film, da freelance, coniugando la scrittura di nuovi progetti documentari.
