Io sono qui è la voce di tutti quei minori che riescono ad arrivare, soli, nel nostro paese e vogliono ricominciare a vivere,a sperare, a credere nel proprio futuro.

This documentary by Gabriele Gravagna is about the story of Dine, Magassouba and Omar, three young guys who for various reasons have been forced to abandon their home countries in search of a safe place to live. Landed at the port of the city of Palermo they were hosted by Azad and Elom refugee centers run by Asante Onlus and supported by UNICEF. I am here becomes a choral testimony of that trip that thousands of migrants are forced to undertake to escape from unimaginable situations. A testimony ofan happy ending, full of hope, gratitude and desire for redemption from a future that seemed tob.

Gabriele Gravagna

Nato a Palermo, si trasferisce a Roma nel 2005 dove frequenta il corso di Regia e Produzione Audiovideo presso l’Istituto Europeo di Design.

Nel 2007 studia scrittura cinematografica con Giorgio Arlorio, Nicola Giuliano e Francesco Bruni.

È regista e autore specializzato nel linguaggio della docu-soap e docu-fiction, per la televisione, il cinema e il web.

Tra i suoi lavori: la docufiction “Ilaria Alpi: l’ultimo viaggio” diretta insieme a Claudio Canepari e prodotta da Rai Fiction e il documentario “Ho trovato il coraggio”, prodotto da On The Road Again Pictures per A+E Networks Italia.
