Estate ‘92, Joan Durà, vicino di Monòver, viene arrestato senza conoscerne il motivo nel suo bar, l’Asterix. Isolato dal resto del mondo, viene torturato per tre giorni e mezzo. Al giorno d’oggi l’impunità per quanto accaduto dura ancora.

Summer ‘92, Joan Durà, a neighbour of Monòver, is arrested without knowing the motive in his bar, the Astérix. Incommunicado for three and a half days he is tortured. Nowadays impunity for what happened still lasts.

Irene Puente

Irene Puente è nata e cresciuta a Santander (Cantabria, Spagna. 1997). Fin dall’adolescenza ha partecipato a diverse organizzazioni e movimenti sociali. Dopo la laurea in Belle Arti, ha deciso di specializzarsi in animazione a Valencia. Encara dura è la produzione documentaristica che costituisce il suo progetto finale di Master, ed è il suo primo lavoro come regista.

Irene Puente was born and raised in Santander (Cantabria, Spain. 1997). Since adolescence he has participated in various organizations and social movements. After graduating in Fine Arts, he decided to specialize in animation in Valencia. Encara dura is the documentary production that constitutes his final Master’s project, and is his first work as a director.
